Robyn N. Lanier attended the Cleveland Music School Settlement in addition to her college preparatory studies. She earned a Bachelor of Music in Composition from Baldwin-Wallace College Conservatory and her Master of Music Performance in Voice from the University of Akron School of Music.
Ms. Lanier was the Music Director of Twinsburg Youth Theater 1996-1999, the Artistic and Music Director of East Cleveland Theater 2002-2004, and Voice Coach/Accompanist/Music Director of US Performing Arts 2005-2008 when she left for adventures in China.
Ms. Lanier performed as a principle soloist in the American
Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria; Case Western Reserve’s Requiem Mass and the Case Western Reserve Wind Ensemble performance at Severance Hall; performer and clinician in Hunan Province, China; and Collage of University of Akron in EJ Thomas Hall. Her most fond accomplishment was singing for the President of the United States at Cleveland State University’s Wolstein Center.
Her global experiences encompass being the music director for the Holland-America/Carnival Corporation Cruise Lines where she worked with a variety of singers and
instrumentalist. Additionally, she was a vocal/instrument coach for performers in LA prior to their employment in Las Vegas shows and embarkation on cruise ships.
She is currently the K-12 Music teacher at Sand Point School in the Aleutian East Borough School District.
